Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has reached a deal with KLM City Hopper for seven Embraer 190 jets.

The order, which confirms options announcements made in 2007, also includes further options for another 11 jets.

The aircraft are expected to be delivered during the first half of 2010.

KLM City Hopper, the Dutch regional subsidiary of Air France-KLM, operates four Embraer 190 jets on its regional European routes.
