Babcock Airports was one of the first to introduce intregated 100% HBS in a baggage system with the Heathrow Terminal 1 redevelopment; this system is still functioning above requirements today.

Systems simulation validates our designs using your expected baggage profiles, to prove the performance of the baggage management system. Scenarios can be tested to check the system can handle every possible situation.

We also provide automated computer assisted passenger profiling systems (CAPPS) to provide unmanned identification and screening of selected baggage conforming to US requirements. Our systems integrate seamlessly with all CT and EDS equipment from other suppliers.

BAG-NAV – baggage management software

For many years, Babcock Airports has used its own in-house software technicians to develop a truly unique baggage control solution. BAG-NAV is a Windows-based sort allocation computer that integrates the entire baggage handling process into a complete software package.
