Airport Dortmund tests the unattended version of MATERNA’s SecureAccess solution. Due to success of the attended security check with MATERNA’s Secure Access, now the Airport tests the self-service system, which consists of a Kaba Gate and the MATERNA software application.

Passengers just scan their 2D barcodes on their boarding pass or smartphone and the automatic doors will open after the validity is checked by the software.

Surveys show that passengers prefer to use the automated gate for their security control.
