Materna IPS Introduces Touchless Kiosk Control for a Safe Travel Experience
Materna IPS has developed a solution that allows passengers to operate self bag drop units...
At this year’s Airport Show in Dubai, Materna, together with its subsidiary DSG BagDrop AS, provides the Self Bag Drop solution Air.Go in the German Pavilion.
In its new design, Air.Go presents a perfect system for automated baggage handling that is excellently suited for the Middle East context and is optimised for this region not only in terms of functionality, but also aesthetically. The Air.Go 2.0 Bag Drop installation integrates all required hardware and technology.
The Scandinavian product design is ergonomic, elegant and user-friendly and will fit into the architectural and functional environment of any airport. To make Air.Go as user-friendly as possible, the screen software is designed to only show one button at a time. The angle of the screen is tilted to suite people of different heights. A lean design allows passengers to get close to the screen for reading and touching. In addition to various systems from the Self Bag Drop area, Materna and DSG also provide solutions for check-in, security and self-boarding.
