Runway Rubber Removal Equipment

Jetting Systems, (the new name for Rail Air Engineering Ltd) are pleased to anounce two major contract awards for rubber removal equipment. The first which is believed to the the biggest and most powerful unit in the world features a URACA KD725 Ultra High Pressure Water pump operating at 2500 bar with a water flow of 43 l/min. It is mounted on a semi trailer unit which features a 18000 lt clean water tank and a 22000 lt debris tank. The total unit is nearly 20Mt long and weighs in at 45 tonnes fully laden.

Highly efficient rubber removal is achieved via a computer control and Servo Drive system which automatically compensates for various rubber removal rates depending upon the forward speed of the equipment.

The second order which was won against major international cometition is for a 33 tonne rigid unit operating at 2500 bar and 28 l/min. This equipment is expected to be delivered to O.A.M.C. in Muscat early in 2006.
