Latest Advances in CNC Runway Rubber Removal Technology to Showcase at Inter Airport Europe

Jetting Systems are continually refining the art of selective rubber removal from the landing zones of airport runways worldwide and the list of satisfied users is growing steadily year by year.

In the last 12 months various standard machines have been delivered but the most notable has been an all new system featuring 2500 bar and 28 l/min ultra-high pressure water jet system and a high performance vacuum system all driven from the PTO of a Fendt agricultural tractor.

Erik Flo Flaten, owner of Flaten Maskin Norway approached us in 2012 with a request to design a system to operate in conjunction with his existing Fendt 900 series tractor. The result in early 2013 was a unique and versatile system that has gone on to prove exceptionally reliable and has removed massive amounts of rubber and paint deposits from Norway’s international and domestic airports. With this equipment Erik has literally cleaned up the market.

The CNC system used in this design is capable of removing rubber over a width of 2100mm and at the touch of a button can be adapted immediately for paint removal over anything down to 300mm.

The technology employed in this system may be seen in Hall B6 Stand 687. We look forward to meeting you there.
