GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) has completed a purchase and leaseback deal with Latin American carrier Avianca-TACA for three Airbus A320 aircraft.
The first A320 was delivered to the airline in August 2010, with the two remaining aircraft scheduled for delivery in October and December this year.
Avianca-TACA executive president Fabio Villegas Ramirez said that with the addition of the three new aircraft, it will be possible to extend the benefits of the Airbus fleet to more passengers on medium-range routes in the region.
