Ground facilities at Russia’s Baikonur cosmodrome are being prepared for the launch of the Glonass-M satellite from pad 81.
The facility is undergoing processing including functioning tests and autonomous verification of the launch pad’s systems.
The Glonass-M has completed its tests and the cluster is presently in storage.
The DM-2 upper stage has been loaded with propellant and transported to the launch site for further integration with the Glonass-M cluster.
