Boeing has successfully completed an upgrade of the visual systems on three All Nippon Airways (ANA) 767-300 full-flight simulators in Tokyo.
The upgrade will enhance the realism and quality of the training and ensure conformity with the latest regulatory requirements.
Boeing Training & Flight Services director of simulator services Mark Albert said that due to its experience in simulator visual systems upgrades, Boeing had been able to bring best practices to the ANA project.
ANA vice-president of flight training Shigekazu Miyazaki said that it was constantly reviewing its training technologies and despite the economic downturn, ANA will continue to invest in providing the best training devices and equipment for its pilots and flight crew from other airlines to train at its facility.
