Russian Space Systems and Trimble have partnered to form a joint venture, Rusnavgeoset, which will be responsible for selling commercial global navigation satellite system (GNSS) geodetic network infrastructure systems to Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The joint venture is a 50/50 partnership that will be based in Moscow.

Operations will begin after the new entity is completed in June 2010.
