Nasa has extended an International Space Station (ISS) contract with the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) on crew transportation, rescue and other services in 2013 and 2014.
Under the $335m contract, the four Russian Soyuz spacecraft will fly to and from the station with crew members, carry limited cargo and aid in the disposal of trash on the station.

The spacecraft will be allowed to carry 110lb of cargo per person on its way to the station and about 37lb on its return as well as trash disposal of about 66lb.
Crew members will launch on four Soyuz vehicles to the station in 2013, and return on two vehicles in 2013 and two in 2014.
The contract covers necessary training and preparation for the launch, crew rescue and landing of a long-duration mission for six individual station crew members.
