The 226,042ft² unit will be operated by Aviation Industries of China’s (AVIC) Shenyang Aircraft Corporation (SAC).

The Shenyang facility is being build in addition to two other new CSeries aircraft installations that are under construction.
The CSeries single-aisle long-range aircraft will be powered by a PW1000G engine and have a seating capacity of up to 149.
