China will build and launch a commercial satellite for Bolivia to link remote and isolated areas of the country.
The construction and launch of Bolivia’s first satellite is estimated to be worth $300m, which will be funded by China through easy loan terms.
The China Great Wall Industry Corporation, the sole agency for aerospace cooperation deals arranged by the Chinese Government will play a central role in the project.
Bolivia intends to launch its satellite three years after signing a final agreement with China.
