Hawker Beechcraft has delivered four Beechcraft King Air C90GTi turboprops to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The King Air C90GTi is a fuel-efficient aircraft that features a fully-integrated Collins Pro Line 21TM avionics suite.

The aircraft’s capabilities also include a multi-sensor flight management system, solid-state weather radar, a high-speed USB database loader and optional Collins HF radio.

The FAA will use the King Air C90GTi fleet to further support its flight standards programme.

Additionally, the FAA will use the King Air aircraft to support its disaster relief and emergency response operations.

The FAA programme provides direct support to more than 600 aviation safety operations inspectors throughout the country.

The four aircraft will be upgraded with the King Air 90x package in the first quarter of 2010 to enhance payload and performance.

The contract also includes an option for two more aircraft.
