CAE will design and produce four full-flight simulators and related devices for Malaysia Airlines, Kenya Airways, Korean Air and Mount Cook Airlines.
Malaysian Airlines will receive a CAE 7000 series Boeing 737-800 level D FFS and a CAE Simfinity 737-800 integrated procedures trainer (IPT) that will be ready for training by the end of 2010.
Malaysia Airlines operations director, Captain Mohamed Azharuddin Osman said that this is a prelude to the carrier taking delivery of B737-800 planes in 2010.
CAE will provide a CAE 5000 Series 737NG FFS and related training devices to Kenya Airways in mid-2010 and assist the carrier in developing a new training centre for the simulator and their B737NG pilot training programme.
Korean Air will acquire a CAE 5000 series Citation CJ1+ FFS with Tropos-6000 image generator and liquid crystal on silicon (LCoS) projectors and delivery due in the second half of 2010.
Mount Cook Airlines has purchased a CAE 7000 series ATR 72-500 FFS, which will enter into service in the first half of 2010.
