Turkish carrier MNG Airlines has ordered two more A330-200Fs from Airbus to support its expanding cargo operations.
The A330-200F offers two operational configurations depending on the mission. The aircraft can carry up to 64 million tons over 4,000nm or over 69 million tons up to a distance of 3,200nm.
The optimised fuselage cross-section of the aircraft enables it to carry a wide range of pallet and container sizes offering 30% more volume than other freighters in its class.
The new A330-200Fs will enable MNG Airlines to supplement its A300 fleet and expand operations on its trunk routes at a lower cost-per-ton within Europe, Middle East, Asia, China and USA.
Delivery of the freighters will begin in 2010.
