Bell Helicopter has signed a five-year supply agreement with Triumph Group to provide transmission assembly for the Bell 429 helicopter.
The contract includes manufacturing, assembly / integration and testing of the transmission, along with the design and engineering of the test equipment.
The agreement, valued at $363m over the next ten years, has an additional five options for one-year contract extension.
Pennsylvania-based Triumph Group develops, manufactures and repairs aircraft components and accessories.
