Airbus Japan CEO Stephane Ginoux has said the company is aiming to capture 20% of Japan’s passenger jet market within five years through new orders, up from the current 10%.
The company is also considering working with Japanese aircraft manufacturers to strengthen its presence in the country, Ginoux said.
Airbus has recently signed a sales contract for four A380 superjumbo aircraft with Skymark Airlines and a leasing contract for 10 A320-200s with A&F Aviation, according to Reuters.
