Lockheed Martin has delivered the first replacement centre wing box (CWB) assembly for Hercules L-100 to shipping company Lynden Air Cargo.
The delivery is the first CWB for the L-100, which is the civil variant of the Hercules and adds 15 years of service life to the aircraft.
The CWB assembly is the first of three to be delivered to Lynden.
The CWB will be installed by Singapore Technologies Aerospace Engineering using Lockheed Martin-designed tooling.
