Eurocopter, a division of European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), has reported an increased turnover for 2010 with €4.8bn ($6.5bn), an increase of 6% from 2009.
Eurocopter delivered a total of 527 helicopters for the year.

The company sold 28 NH90 multirole military helicopters and 15 Tiger attack helicopters in 2010, twice as many as 2009 figures.
Eurocopter also delivered the first three of an order of 50 EC725s to the Brazilian armed forces and its 100th UH-72A to the US Army.
The company made 53% of its consolidated turnover from the delivery of new production helicopters, whilst support and services comprised 36% of turnover, and the remaining 11% came from Eurocopter’s development and other activities.
