Virgin America has taken delivery of an Airbus A320 from commercial aircraft leasing and financing service GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), a division of GE.
The delivery completes GECAS’s order of two A320s to Virgin America this year.
Virgin America’s fleet is expected to increase by two thirds by the end of the year and triple by 2016.
The airline was launched in 2007.
