Pratt & Whitney has signed a five-year engine management programme agreement with GMG Airlines for its current fleet of PW4060 and JT8D-200 engines.

GMG Airlines managing director Shahab Sattar said that Pratt & Whitney’s engine management programme would help it make informed decisions and track critical data for its growing fleet.

Pratt & Whitney uses its web-based advanced diagnostics and engine management tools to provide engine performance monitoring services.

The firm will evaluate the data to monitor and forecast engine health and maintenance.
