ACI’s Module M1 scan monitors an airport’s passenger terminal capacity to reveal the anticipated quality of departure and arrival chains, as well as identify saturation, surplus and insufficient capacity of individual handling areas. Clients can retrieve, download and print their results online.

Module M1 allows clients to view requirements for passenger handling processes in departure and arrival flows.

The module is designed to suit a variety of small to medium-sized airports in the ‘one level and open apron’ category, which are fitted-out for processing departure and arrival flows (O/D), no transfers and serving only remote aircraft stands.

The solution can also be used to analyse larger airports of the ‘multiple level processor-pier / finger or satellite’ category.

Module M1 results can be used for comparing passenger handling processes to benchmark airports meeting IATA best practices and accepted common industry standards.

They are presented in a comprehensive schedule with optional colour tags to show the performance of currently available terminal solutions. Specialist skills in airport planning and design are not required to obtain results.

Pre-set parameters have been used for calculations on the basis of IATA recommendations, best practices and accepted common industry standards.
