The airport was looking for a scalable technology to enhance its operational flexibility in order to manage future growth in passenger traffic.

BIAL tapped IBM Global Business Services, IBM hybrid cloud capabilities and Kyndryl to meet such requirements and implement an architecture with a dynamic delivery model.

The new platform is expected to increase employee productivity, cut down expenses via streamlined inventory control, facilitate better utilisation of IT assets and enhance incident management.

It will also utilise IBM Maximo enterprise asset management technology to deliver AI-powered insights to optimise inventory management and total ownership cost.
