A subsidiary company of Mitsubishi Corporation, MC Aviation Partners (MCAP), has concluded a purchase order of $153m with Boeing for two 737-800 airliners.

The company has marked its first direct purchase of aircraft from Boeing with an order announced at this year’s Paris Air Show in Le Bourget.

MCAP chief executive officer Tatsuo Sato said that the aircraft will be leased to Skymark Airlines in Japan.

Boeing Leasing and Asset Management vice president of sales John Wojick said that the purchase of those aircraft will help MCAP to provide the customers high reliability, fuel efficiency and low operating costs around the world.
