Oman Air has signed a rate-per-flight-hour (RPFH) agreement with CFM International for the airline’s fleet of CFM56-7B engines to power 15 Boeing next-generation 737 aircraft.

Under the agreement, CFM guarantees maintenance cost on a dollar per engine flight hour basis for the airline’s entire fleet of 33 installed and spare CFM56-7B engines.

Oman Air chief technical officer Salim Al Kindy said that the comprehensive service and support package would allow them to keep their costs predictable.
