Boeing has secured a contract to provide a wind update solution to Etihad Airways.

The solution will allow the airline to improve the operational efficiency of its aircraft by reducing fuel consumption and crew work load.

Neptec UK, a subsidiary of Neptec Design Group, has been selected by Airbus Defence and Space to develop LiDAR extra-terrestrial imaging applications (LEIA).

The LEIA is intended for integration onto the pilot autonomous landing navigation system of Luna Resource-1 Lander unmanned platform.

"The loan will also allow Bombardier to develop new-generation aircraft."

The Canadian Government has agreed to provide a $283m loan to Bombardier to support the research and development of Global 7000 business jet and C Series aircraft.

NanoRacks and Boeing have entered a deal to develop a commercial airlock module for installation onto the US segment of the International Space Station (ISS).

The airlock’s passive common berthing mechanism will be built by Boeing.

The new airlock module will enable the US to deploy more number of satellites from the ISS during a single airlock cycle.

SkyWest has awarded a contract to AAR Corp. to provide landing gear assemblies and sub-assemblies for approximately 400 Bombardier CRJ aircraft.

The contract has a base period of three years, along with a five-year extension option.
