Ethiopian Airlines has received a seventh Q-400 next-generation turboprop aircraft from Canadian Aircraft manufacturer Bombardier.

The Q-400 aircraft will enable the airline to support the increasing Ethiopian tourism market and domestic business travel, and serve on regional routes.

The airline currently provides domestic flight services with Boeing 737, Q-400 and Fokker aircraft to its 17 domestic destinations.

Powered by two PW150A engines, the Q-400 aircraft can carry 68-78 passengers and two crew, and has a 360kt maximum cruise speed.
