The Trent 700 is the only engine specifically designed for the Airbus A330. It provides a thrust of up to 72,000lb.

The three-shaft design of the Trent family enables fewer stages than other engines, giving lower maintenance costs, lower weight and better performance retention.

The A330 aircraft fitted with the Rolls Royce engine will enter service in 2012.
