AgustaWestland is to deliver nine AW139 helicopters to Weststar Aviation Services of Malaysia, confirming a previously unannounced order.
Weststar will use the helicopters for offshore transport missions supporting oil and gas industry operations in Malaysia.

All nine aircraft are due for delivery by March 2011.
AgustaWestland Malaysia will also provide pilot and technician training services and a comprehensive support package under the contract.
The standard-configuration helicopter provides seating for 12 to 15 passengers, and has a range of 675nm and a maximum cruise speed of 165kt.
