The Sukhoi Superjet 100 has landed at Torino Caselle Airport in Italy for the first time for a series of tests under a flight certification campaign.

The aircraft, a third prototype SN 950004 will undergo tests including noise community and high-intensity radiated field tests.

Under the certification programme, the prototype will be evaluated for electromagnetic compatibility requirements for civil aircraft to operate safely in the man-made electromagnetic environment.

The programme accumulated over 2,011 flying hours in 814 flights, about 70% of the overall certification programme including the most critical tests.

To date, the SSJ100 has passed a series of testing in extreme weather conditions and high elevation program.
