Bombardier has received a $218m order for seven Q400 NextGen turboprop airliners from Qantas Airways.
The aircraft will be operated by Qantas’s wholly owned regional airline, QantasLink.

The order will bring the total number of Q400 and Q400 NextGen airliners operated by QantasLink to 28.
The airline also operates two Bombardier Dash 8-200, three Q200 and 16 Q300 aircraft.
Designed for short-haul operations, the 70 to 80-seat Q400 NextGen aircraft is a large, fast, quiet and fuel-efficient turboprop.
