CAE will deliver a full-flight simulator for Bombardier’s new Learjet 85 to expand the company’s worldwide pilot and maintenance training network.
The simulator will be placed at Bombardier’s aircraft training centre in Montréal and will be used to support aircraft testing and certification prior to the Learjet 85’s planned entry into service in 2013.

Bombardier Customer Services & Specialised and Amphibious Aircraft president James Hoblyn said the aircraft simulator will be instrumental in refining the design and flight characteristics of Learjet 85.
“It will then transition to provide customers with valuable pilot training prior to the delivery of their aircraft, as well as initial and recurrent training throughout the full lifecycle of the Learjet 85 aircraft programme.”
Bombardier’s customers will be able to train on the new simulator in the first quarter of 2013.
