Cessna’s Citation X aircraft will be fitted with Honeywell’s Primus Elite cockpit displays from 2011, under a new contract.
New features include XM graphical weather in the US and Southern Canada, Jeppesen electronic charts and maps with aircraft position displayed worldwide, and video displays.

The five-panel LCD displays have internal computing power that allows operators to access functionality previously only available in newer aircraft.
Honeywell will also offer the systems as an optional service bulletin upgrade through the Cessna Citation Service Center network for in-service Citation Xs.
Currently, approximately 300 Citation X aircraft in-service worldwide would be eligible for the upgrade.
