An Aerojet-led consortium will provide space propulsion technologies to Nasa’s Glenn Research Center for five years.
The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract includes technologies for cryogenic and electric propulsion for spacecraft.
Ball Aerospace, Boeing, Florida Turbine Technologies, Gray Research, Lockheed Martin and United Launch Alliance are a part of the consortium.
The team is one of the five firms to get the contract to support Nasa’s research and Technologies activities, which is worth up to $50m.
