The 10,152ft² THF will house the operational offices of Virgin Galactic world headquarters.

The THF has been designed by URS / Foster + Partners and is to be built in accordance with the US Green Building Council’s LEED rating system.
Spaceport America is working in concert with Virgin Galactic, Lockheed Martin, Moog-FTS, UP Aerospace and Armadillo Aerospace to develop commercial spaceflight.
The 10,000ft-long runway is currently under construction, while the hangar is expected to be complete by early 2011.
