The PW535E turbofan was selected by Embraer in May 2005 to power the Phenom 300.

P&WC Mississauga & turbofan programmes vice-president John Wyzykowski said that this is a remarkable milestone and comes 26 months after our first run of the PW535E engine.

“The Phenom 300 programme is progressing quickly towards aircraft certification and we are looking forward to continuing to work with Embraer to ensure first customer deliveries in the near future,” he said.
