Australian helicopter service, Rotor-lift Aviation has acquired two helicopter flight simulators from Flyit Simulators in California, US.
One of the simulators is a custom model AS355 Twin Star featuring a full-function auto pilot and Dual Garmin 430W’s, ASD Network reports.

The AS355 simulator cockpit is a replica of the actual IFR helicopter offering higher competency levels for students at a lower cost.
The second simulator has six flight model capabilities and all approaches including RNAV (GNSS) can be taught on the two systems from an Australia-wide database.
Both the flight training systems have been installed in a mobile self-contained trailer / classroom.
