Ethiopian Airlines is to receive 12 Airbus A350-900 XWB aircraft as per a memorandum of understanding signed by the airlines and Airbus.

“The A350-900 will bring increased capacity and range to our rapidly expanding network,” Wake said
The African carrier will operate the long-haul medium-capacity long-range wide-body aircraft from its hub in Addis Ababa, linking Africa with Europe, the US and Asia.
