Embraer’s executive jets Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 will receive tailcone and fuselage doors from Ducommun AeroStructures.
The aircraft components, worth more than $100m, will be assembled at the company’s facilities in Southern California, Kansas and Mexico.

Both the mid-light Legacy 450 and the mid-size Legacy 500 belong to Embraer’s family of six business jets. While Legacy 450 can fly up to 2,300nm, the Legacy 500 range can fly up to 300nm.
Ducommun AeroStructures, a Ducommun Incorporated subsidiary, supplies complex structural components and assemblies in aluminum and specialty alloys for various commercial aerospace and military applications.
