AirAsia X has placed an order for ten Airbus A350-900 aircraft at this year’s Paris Air Show as well as agreeing options on a further five.
The Malaysia-based low-cost long-haul carrier will receive the first deliveries at the beginning of 2016.

The order comes as a blow to Boeing as AirAsia had been considering the 787 Dreamliner before settling on the Airbus aircraft.
