Jazeera Airways Group subsidiary Sahaab Aircraft Leasing (Sahaab) has placed an Airbus A320 aircraft on long-term lease with SriLankan Airlines.
The $20m deal is for a placement period of at least six years.

Jazeera Airways group chairman Marwan Boodai said this was Sahaab’s second international customer, Jazeera Airways being its first customer.
Sahaab placed four Airbus A320s to San Francisco-based Virgin America in a deal valued at $155m over a ten-year period.
Sahaab Aircraft Leasing was launched in October 2008 and was later fully acquired by Jazeera Airways Group as part of the group’s vertical integration strategy.
Jazeera Airways Group has a fleet portfolio of 11 Airbus A320s.
