Air India is looking for $840m in compensation from US aircraft-maker Boeing for the delay in delivering Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
Air India chief operating officer Captain Gustav Baldauf said the compensation sought is a mix of different services, discount and money.

The national liner had ordered 111 aircraft from Airbus and Boeing at a cost of $13bn to replace its ageing fleet and leased planes.
Boeing failed to supply 27 Dreamliner aircraft, which were originally scheduled to arrive in September 2008, with the delay attributed to issues with its vendors and an industrial dispute with workers.
Boeing has now rescheduled the delivery to the second quarter of 2011, according to domain-b.com.
