US-based satellite manufacturer Space Systems Loral (SSL) has received a satellite order from Brazilian satellite operator Embratel Star One.
SSL will build the Star One D2 multimission communications satellite, which is scheduled to be launched aboard Ariane 5 rocket from French Guiana in 2019.
The Star One D2 spacecraft is intended to provide quality entertainment and information services for regions throughout Latin America.
US-based aluminium rolled product maker Aleris Corporation has been contracted to provide aluminium flat-rolled products for various Bombardier aircraft programmes.
The materials to be supplied under the contract will be produced at Aleris’ facilities in Koblenz, Germany; and Zhenjiang, China.
