National Aviation Services (NAS) has opened a 110m² Pearl Lounge at the Jazeera Terminal (T5), which caters to all business class passengers flying with Jazeera Airways.
The new departure lounge provides business counter facilities that help passengers to catch up on any last-minute work.
The Pearl Lounge also offers hot and cold menu options, a smoking room and hospitality facilities, free Wi-Fi live streaming TV channels and a selection of reading material.
NAS Kuwait general manager Mansour Al Kheziem said: “NAS has been working with Jazeera Airways for the last 14 years and we are extremely pleased to offer the airline our best in class lounge services at T5.
“As a Kuwait based company, it is our top most priority to ensure that we offer world-class facilities and services to the airports in the country. This includes investments in infrastructure, resources, and training as well as providing operational expertise, state-of-the-art technology solutions and industry benchmarked services.
“The new Pearl Lounge is a part of our continued efforts and we would like to thank Jazeera Airways and the Kuwait Directorate General of Civil Aviation for their ongoing support and cooperation.”
NAS Kuwait operates the new Pearl Lounge under the supervision of the Kuwait Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
It also offers Pearl Assist, Meet and Assist services (Hala Kuwait) at T5.
In December 2017, NAS opened two new Pearl Lounges covering an area of 800m² at Marrakech Menara Airport in Morocco.
With a presence in 17 countries across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, NAS operates 40 airport lounges and provides ground handling services to seven airlines.
