There were reportedly 439 turboprop deliveries in 2023, up from 383 in 2022, representing a 14.6% growth.
GAMA further reported a steady increase of piston aircraft of 11.9%.
The value of aircraft deliveries through Q3 2023 was reported at $14.5bn demonstrating an increase of 2.5%.
Pete Bunce, GAMA President and CEO, said he placed an emphasis on safety, technology and sustainability initiatives when looking at the industry’s growth.
Bunce said: “To achieve [steadfast industry growth], it is imperative that there is stability within our industry’s regulatory bodies and having a new permanent leader at the top of the FAA is a great start.
“It is also essential that Congress act now to pass an FAA reauthorization bill that provides the new Administrator and agency with the necessary direction and tools to strengthen and enhance the aviation system”.
