Electric vertical take-off and Landing (eVTOL) global start-up AutoFlight is set to reveal the interior design of its world-record-holding Prosperity I EVTOL at Le Bourget Paris Air Show from 19-25 June 2023.

Frank Stephenson renowned for designing various automotive vehicles including Ferrari, Maserati, McLaren, and MINI was chosen as the designer for the Prosperity I.

The autonomous aircraft has a cruise speed of 200 km/h and a flight range of 250km allowing it to achieve the world’s longest eVTOL flight in history.

Tian Yu, CEO of AutoFlight, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration and the elevation it brings to the air mobility sector.

The aircraft’s interior design characteristics reflect AutoFlight’s commitment to providing a premium passenger experience in mass passenger transportation.

According to AutoFlight, the sleek lines and angle-free moulded interior provide “a sense of vastness”, while controlled lighting creates an aura of elegance and tranquillity.

Furthermore, selecting high-performance materials assures a lightweight construction while also reflecting AutoFlight’s ongoing dedication to efficiency and sustainability.

“Designing the interior of the Prosperity I has been a phenomenal journey. Our aim was to create an environment that evokes a sense of safety, comfort and innovation,” said Frank Stephenson, chief designer of Prosperity I.

“With this as our goal, the passengers will feel relaxed, living a new sensation of wonder as they travel to their destinations.

“The welcoming interior has been achieved through the innovative application of natural organic shapes, new soft-touch materials and a clever system of interior mood lighting. According to AutoFlight, the company is also demonstrating its commitment to sustainability through the selection of sustainable, recycled, and reusable materials for Prosperity I ahead of mass production.
