Emirates Airline operates the world’s longest non-stop scheduled service between Dubai and Auckland. The 14,200km journey from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Auckland Airport (AKL) takes less than 16 hours.
The maiden flight on the route was aboard an A380 in March 2016, but the route is regularly served by Boeing 777-200LR aircraft with a maximum carrying capacity of 266 passengers.
Qantas QF 7/QF 8 (A380-800) – 13,824km (Sydney – Dallas/Fort Worth)
The QF7/QF8 flights operated by Qantas on A380-800 aircraft between Sydney and Dallas/Fort Worth is the world’s second longest flight route covering 13,824km aboard some of the world’s biggest airliners.
The scheduled flight duration for QF7 is 15 hours and 25 minutes and that for QF8 is 16 hours and 50 minutes. The service was offered on Boeing 747s from May 2011 but was replaced by A380-800 aircraft in September 2014.

Emirates Airline operates its longest non-stop EK 215 flight (A380 service) between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The 13,416km journey between the two cities takes 16 hours and 20 minutes.
The scheduled daily 777-200LR service was launched on the route in October 2008 but replaced with an A380 service in December 2013.
Saudia SV 41 – 13,405km (Jeddah – Los Angeles)
The SV 41 service operated by Saudia (Saudi Arabian Airlines) between Jeddah and Los Angeles was launched in March 2014 with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The scheduled non-stop flight navigates the 13,405km distance between King Abdulaziz International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport taking up to 17 hours.
The 777-300ER aircraft is equipped with 24 First Class, 36 Business Class and 245 Economy Class seats.
Emirates EK 211 – 13,140km (Dubai – Houston)
The 13,140km-long commercial flight between Dubai and Houston is served by the Emirates EK 211 service. The inaugural flight by Emirates on this route was aboard a Boeing 777-200LR in December 2007.
An A380 Superjumbo was introduced in December 2014, replacing the 777 aircraft. The three-class A380 aircraft carries 491 passengers and covers the scheduled flight between Dubai International Airport and George Bush Intercontinental Houston Airport in 15 hours and 40 minutes.
Etihad EY 183 – 13,126km (Abu Dhabi – San Francisco)
Etihad Airways launched the inaugural EY 183 service in November 2014 from Abu Dhabi to San Francisco, which is currently served by a three-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
The 777-300ER configured for the route is operated by Etihad through a lease agreement with Jet Airways and takes 16 hours and 15 minutes to fly the 13,126km-long route.
American Airlines AA 137 – 13,068km (Dallas/Fort Worth – Hong Kong)
American Airlines operates the AA 137 service between Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Hong Kong International Airport (HKG), taking more than 16 hours to travel the 13,068km route.
A daily service in this route has been operated with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft since June 2014. The AA 137 service offers three-class cabin configured with fully lie-flat seats in First and Business Class.
Emirates EK 225 – 13,036km (Dubai – San Francisco)
