Selex ES provides secure and resilient communication solutions to support both airport ground logistics activities (maintenance services, baggage services, aircraft fuelling, ramp services, airport movements) and airport ground emergency and security activities (fire brigades, police and security operations).
Among others, the following features can be implemented through a multi-technology Selex ES ground communication network:
Voice and data communication
Real-time resource positioning (both vehicles and people)
Groups co-ordination
Support for mission-critical applications
The CSP-Perseus integration platform allows for new technology to operate alongside the existing networks, building a more effective solution and preserving the current infrastructure. The new TETRA network can be integrated with existing legacy infrastructure or with other technologies such as fixed or mobile telephony, WiFi or VoIP; broadband (LTE or WiMax etc.) introduction can follow the same evolutionary approach.
Airport security systems
Selex ES provides complex security solutions that assimilate data from video surveillance, access control, anti-intrusion devices and cyber security to provide a comprehensive operational picture.
The Integrated Airport System is the Selex ES solution designed to deliver a fully operational airport system in a very short time, based on the fast and modular development of integrated airside and infrastructure landside systems to answer the problem of increasing air traffic. This total airport management solution is built on four main pillars covering security, safety, services and sustainability.
