Curie Technologies has completed a trial of its “petiteC” software at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport.

The cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform aimed to transform how security professionals monitor and manage mission-critical equipment.

The trial at Nice Airport was undertaken in three phases.

During the first phase of the trial, security equipment at one checkpoint in the airport was tagged and integrated into the petiteC platform. The staff at the airport received training to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.

The second phase saw airport staff and contractors actively using the software to track operational status, compliance, and maintenance history.

The final phase involved collecting feedback from all users to assess the airport’s future needs for such technology.

Curie Technologies CEO Anne Marie Pellerin said: “Curie Technologies is excited to have trialled ‘petiteC’ with the Nice Airport Team.

“We believe that we successfully demonstrated to the airport and its service providers how ‘petiteC’ can connect stakeholders to enhance equipment management and compliance, driving efficiencies and contributing to the airport’s goal of maximising the safety and security of the traveling public.”

The platform has been designed to complement existing enterprise maintenance and asset tracking systems.

By automating manual processes and enhancing quality assurance, the software helps to improve the overall efficiency of airport security operations.

Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, which is claimed to be France’s second-largest airport, serves 122 destinations across 45 countries via 58 airlines and offers 13 long-haul routes, including Abu Dhabi, New York, and Dubai.
